On October 22, a day after Grandaddy's official birthday, Granny Linda, Grandaddy, Aunt Lelley, Aunt Donna, Uncle Doug, Cousin Marc, Cousin Alexa, Paul, Mommy and I gathered to have a little fun Grandaddy style in Richmond.
We took a cruise along the James River and Kanawha Canal.
I listened and watched intently,
and explored all the nooks and crannies of the boat.
We visited Tredegar Iron Works and manned the cannon.
We celebrated Grandaddy's 80th birthday with some of his favorites: steak, potatoes, salad, and pineapple upside down cake.
And all of the kids and grandkids showed Grandaddy how much we LOVE him.
